^the MISSION

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE:

• To buy a retired ambulance from a Canadian EMS service auction. 

• To stock it with basic supplies for medical care, school, recreation,     and everyday life.

• To hit the road, and deliver it to a grassroots paramedic organization       in Honduras, serving remote communities within its own borders and     in neighbouring parts of Central America. 

We are looking to raise funds for the purchase of the ambulance and to cover the cost of fuel for transport to Honduras. Beyond that, all time, logistics, and travel expenses will be covered by our volunteers. 

Our Goal is to raise $8,000 by May 2011. We will purchase the ambulance at the next available auction, and begin the journey as soon as possible thereafter!
